Like other ancient Spiritual
Traditions, Amatsu Tatara does not try to impose on
us either a specific God or a specific way of worshiping Him. It is an
ancient system practiced by certain Shinto sects. It is a
secret spiritual way of life based on the belief in the one true God of all
religions.
Rather, the essence of
Amatsu Tatara is that each and every one of us is here because God gave us a
mission to accomplish during our lifetime on earth. He also gave us the means to
accomplish this mission.
The first thing we must do is
to find out what our God given purpose is. This is not as simple as it may seem.
If it were so simple, we would all be saints, sages and Buddhas.
Amatsu Tatara is an ancient system practiced
by certain Shinto sects. It is a secret spiritual way of life based on the
belief in the one true God of all Creation.
• We have a
God given purpose to accomplish in this life, which is the reason for our being
born.
• God has given each of us the means to discover what
our unique purpose in life is.
• God has made available to all of us the strength and
guidance we need to accomplish our purpose.
• If we still cannot achieve our purpose on our own,
God has given us guardian spirits to help us.
In essence, all of the world's great religions have almost identical basic core
teachings about a person's mission in life and/or the reasons for his life. Look
at your own religious tradition. I am sure you will find something very similar
to the precepts of Amatsu Tatara.
A spiritual warrior, like any warrior, needs a
mission, needs knowledge, needs guidance, and needs training and discipline. He
must also believe in the goodness and rightness of his cause.
Grandmaster Tanemura is here to
help us find our true way; not to change our way. Using his special knowledge
and unique insights, his formidable strength of character and his kindness, he
can make a difference in our lives. He can help us acquire what we lack as
warriors.
However, after all is said and
done, perhaps Grandmaster Tanemura's most difficult duty of all is to let us go
on our own way and make our own mistakes, if that is our heart's desire.
Grandmaster Tanemura has the spiritual maturity necessary to watch and let our
Karma unfold as we chose to play it out (this is known as Mu in Japanese or Wu
Wei in Chinese).
